As your Councillor, my official job is Ward Management, not banking. However, I refuse to let the dream of homeownership die. I will go above and beyond my standard duties to create a volunteer taskforce of local builders, banks, and mortgage brokers. Together, we will design an innovative private-sector model that bridges the gap between renting and owning, giving Ward 7 residents a real pathway to property equity.

Fixing Peel Housing: Stopping the Maintenance Money Pit:

Peel Region pours hundreds of millions into maintaining subsidized buildings every year. This continuous spending is a financial leak that never builds wealth for the residents. I will fight to stop hoarding government real estate and convert these subsidized units into buyer-owned condominiums. Handing building ownership over to existing residents builds personal wealth, gives them dignity, and saves taxpayers millions in maintenance costs.

Safer Neighborhoods: Crushing Severe Local Crime:

Ward 7 is facing an unprecedented wave of auto-thefts, violent forced entries, business break-ins, and stabbings. This cannot become our new normal. I will aggressively push to shake up the regional police budget—moving funds away from top-tier administration and putting them directly onto our frontlines. We will deploy visible, proactive, and permanent community foot patrols in high-density areas like Cooksville to protect your family.

Neighborhood Roads: Potholes, Speeding, and Infrastructure:

City Hall has neglected our everyday road safety. Our streets are riddled with deep potholes, missing vital stoplights, and plagued by dangerous speeding. I will fast-track pothole repairs using modern, long-lasting materials and install traffic-calming signals where residents need them. I will also hold city snow plow contractors strictly accountable for cracking and damaging residential driveways during winter operations.

Clean & Secure Spaces: Restoring Parks and Ravines:

Our local ravines are choked with debris, and our parks have become dirty and dark, leaving parents afraid to let their children play. I will implement a strict, tech-driven maintenance schedule to systematically clean out our ravines and ensure our public parks are pristine, well-lit, and secure. We pay high taxes, and we deserve clean, beautiful public spaces where families can thrive.

Protecting Youth: School Safety and Scooter/Bikes Chaos:

Our children face severe dangers, from e-scooters left on every street corner to active drug sales inside our schools where vulnerable students are extorted and beaten. I will introduce strict city bylaws to restrict commercial e-scooters from dangerous pedestrian corridors. More importantly, I will work directly with school boards and local police to increase safety monitoring around schools and crush drug operations.
